I'm not familiar with Smith but I love this kind of guitar work. Do you know Buster B Jones? I can listen to his stuff all day.

And yeah, Smith has become quite obscure but he was really great. He made some nice minor classic easy listening jazz stuff with Stan getz, like moonlight on Vermont.

Yeah, I’m a Quine fanatic and I’ve collected quite a bit of his playing, inc all the richard hell live and bootleg stuff I was able to track down. An underappreciated genius.
